Teva and the IDF (2025)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This report describes some of the relationships between the pharmaceutical company Teva and the Israeli Defense Forces, with a special focus on the period since October 7th, 2023. Ethical questions are raised with regards to Teva’s role in Israel and Palestine, in light of the company’s robust support of the Israeli war effort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Captive Economy: The Pharmaceutical Industry and the Israeli Occupation (2012)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“As a dominant part of the Israeli pharmaceutical industry, Teva enjoys the advantages generated by the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands allowing the company to exploit the Palestinian market. ‘Quality and Security reasons’ in conjunction with economic and political justifications create a Palestinian captive market<\/a> for Israeli and multinational companies.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
